Basic concrete, solution ALFRAN MAG 85 HG for Clinker rotary kilns

Magnesia, MgO, is the fundamental raw material used in the manufacture of bricks for the coating of rotary clinkerization furnaces, due to its chemical compatibility with the process. Its high predisposition to hydration has made it impossible to use it in concretes until now. The development of a solution that allows the regrowth of the basic bricks through the projection with ALFRAN MAG 85 HG, high performance concrete based on magnesia-spinel, is the solution to extend the life of the basic bricks in the coating area. After more than 5 years of intensive research, in 2016 and 2017 we have carried out numerous tests on clients that guarantee hopeful results in this innovative solution, which provides cost and time savings.
